I was lucky to win another large box of old family photos from the local auction house today, including photo albums. Only just begun to go through them when this leapt out at me.
I think this is such a wonderful shot.

"The Summer of Terror in Norway"
"The Summer of Terror in Norway" - Roy Birger Nilsen
Tonight my good friend Roy sent me a link to a beautiful slideshow of the photographs he shot once he and his family learnt of the horrific events that happened in Norway on the 22nd July 2011. They had just begun their Summer holiday in North Norway.
One of Roy's family, Kevin Daae Berland was tragically amongst the victims.
I will leave the rest to Roy.

Angela's guest blog post # 3
A first time, and Kras & Keane are honoured to have Angela reading her poems before a live audience for the very first time. What a good show!

Wonders of a box
A very recent auction win for a box of interesting stuff.
Innocence.
Innocence.

Edit:
More scans.
(Photos by Margaret Clarke who was a photographer from the Southend area in Essex, UK.)
And some more scans from the same collection.

And is this him walking on the street, in later years? I wonder . . .
All in a box of rubbish. It really saddens me to think photographic treasures like these, a family history in great photos are being dumped. Truly tragic.

Summer is over (the lone walker)
Gonna be about a few weeks before I'm back to normal. Had a walk today and spotted the "lone walker". It looks like summer is over for this year.
